Learning From a Friend's Experience

A friend had problems when remortgaging because the paperwork for their replacement windows wasn't complete, and it made me think twice before booking my own project. I'd rather get everything done properly from day one. Can anyone recommend a company that provides FENSA certified installation? Honest feedback would be really helpful.

I’d go with a FENSA-registered installer from the start — my cousin skipped that step once and ended up chasing paperwork when they remortgaged, which was a nightmare. The safest approach is to pick someone who issues the certificate as part of the job, not “later”. I’d start by checking FENSA register , because it explains what to look for and points you toward proper compliance rather than just a cheap quote.
