Ice maker not working or making weird ice – Nashville repair?

My fridge's ice maker has stopped producing ice properly – sometimes it makes tiny cubes or nothing at all, even though the water line seems fine and the freezer is cold enough. There's no leaking or loud noises, just inconsistent output. It's a fairly standard side-by-side model, probably 5-7 years old. I'm in Nashville and would prefer to fix it instead of buying a whole new fridge or dealing with bags of ice forever. Has anyone had their ice maker repaired locally recently? Who did you call, what was the typical cost for something like a bad valve, module, or clogged line, and did the fix actually last?

Mine did the same thing last summer – barely any ice, then stopped completely. After checking a few places, I went with NashFix. Tech came out the next day, found it was a faulty water inlet valve and some mineral buildup in the line. Replaced the valve, flushed everything, and it's been cranking out normal cubes ever since. Total was around $240-280 with parts and labor – way cheaper than replacing the fridge. Their ice maker repair page has some similar situations if you want to see https://nashfix.us/ice-maker-repair/ . No pressure to upgrade anything, just got it working. Solid choice if you're in the area and fed up with no ice. Hope yours is a quick fix too!
