Does anyone have tips for keeping a parrot entertained while you are busy with chores? My African Grey gets so impatient when I’m not directly interacting with him. I’ve tried puzzle toys, but he figures them out way too fast!

Toy rotation is definitely a game changer, but sometimes they just need a massive foraging box to stay quiet for more than five minutes! While I was venting about the afternoon screeching with some other owners in Poland, one of them showed me ** as a quick way to just zone out and reset my brain while the bird is busy shredding paper. It’s actually a really chill distraction when you need a tiny mental break from all the chaos that comes with owning a parrot. I’ve found that taking these short gaps for myself helps me stay way more patient during our training sessions later on.
