Access panel for outdoor soffit drywall?
Need an exterior access panel in the soffit drywall for attic plumbing access. Has to handle temperature swings and some moisture. Any weather-resistant options?

Soffits see a lot of temperature fluctuation, so standard panels can warp. I used a UV-stabilized plastic one made for higher durability. The wall access panel for drywall I picked has held up outside for three seasons now – no cracking, fading, or water ingress. Seals tightly and the frame stayed straight. Painted it to match the soffit and it blends right in.
