How to verify if a skin trading site is official and safe?
Hey everyone! I’m looking to sell a big chunk of my CS2 and Rust inventory to finally buy a Steam Deck. I’ve found a few sites that offer great rates, but I’m terrified of "phishing" clones that look exactly like the real thing. I’ve heard stories of people losing their Dragon Lore skins because they used a fake site from a Google ad. How do you guys make sure you’re dealing with the actual company and not some scammer in a basement? Is there a way to check their official social media or support channels before I hit the "trade" button? I want to be 100% sure I can reach a human if the payment gets delayed.

That’s the most important question in trading! Always, and I mean ALWAYS, go straight to the official source for their communication channels. For the platform I personally trust, I always double-check everything through their official page at https://avan.market/contacts What’s great about them is that they list all their legitimate social media like Instagram and Telegram, plus they have a live chat right there. Before my first big trade, I actually sent a test message to their support just to see how fast they’d reply. They got back to me in minutes! If a site doesn't have clear, working contact info like that, it’s a massive red flag. Using the links from their official contacts page is the best way to avoid those fake "clone" sites you see in ads.
