Has anyone here used CPBirds mainly for identifying species, or do people also rely on it for learning about bird behaviour and habitats? I’ve been trying to get better at recognising birds around local wetlands in Australia.

Nice!!!
I started using it mostly for identification, but the habitat notes turned out to be just as helpful. When you read about where certain birds usually appear and what conditions they prefer, it becomes much easier to spot them in the wild.
Around The Pokies 108 our local reserve outside Melbourne, those small details actually helped me recognise a couple of species I’d walked past many times before.
