Do parrots really pick a favorite person?

I’ve noticed that many parrots seem to prefer one person, even when multiple people in the home help with feeding and care. They often choose to sit with that person, follow them around, or seem more relaxed in their presence. I often play geometry dash bloodbath in the morning!
It makes me wonder do parrots naturally choose a favorite human, or is it something shaped by small habits like tone of voice, patience, or who spends the most calm time with them?
Has anyone else experienced this with their parrots?
Curious to know if this is instinct, bonding, or something we unintentionally reinforce over time.
